I find it sad...

that Borders Books is going out of business.  I have, however, bought a slew of books...mostly Altered Art, Design and Art Journaling books for 50% off or more.  I am abound with inspiration and ideas!  Although I am inspired to move away from the computer and play with paper, crayons, and poster paints, I've spent yesterday evening and this fine Saturday morning in digi-land.  Here are two of my creations:

I call this one My Cup of Tea. I've been working on it all day. Now it is time for me to take a break and enjoy a cup of.....COFFEE...hee, hee!

Taking a break...

from the SUNSHINE.  This week's F52 emphasis was on sunshine. But it sooo hot and sunny in San Antonio, Texas. I need a break from the sun!  Come on rain. Even some clouds would be nice. Everything is all roast-y and toasty and burnt.

So here I am, Sunday evening, enjoying some chips and salsa, a cool beverage and doodling. My patio is covered. And we have ceiling fan out there. I'm staying out of the heat. I'm staying out of the sun!
