As I walked along...

...the fields and trails near my home with the intent of capturing Spring, I found myself as drawn to, or perhaps even more drawn to the remains of winter.

The remains of winter and a spring bloom were captured here.

Ghost flowers.

A bright yellow bloom is in contrast with the dead branches.

New blades of grass are shooting up between the ashes
of dead leaves.

Perhaps my favorite shot of the day.

I've joined a group...

at Flickr called Focus 52.  As if I'm not involved in enough...AJC at Scrapbookgraphics and 52 Inspirations at Oscraps...but I have to say, I like the focus being involved in these groups brings.  The journal prompts and inspiration are fantastic...and these groups help me to see the world in a different way.
